Just got my grandfathers RAS up here to Atlanta tonight. It's pretty rusted, but I'm excited to finally have it up here to actually start working on it. As you can see we had to disassemble the entire thing to actually move it up here and man it is heavy. Getting the main arm out of the base was almost impossible. We finally got it though, but in pulling it out it looks like we separated the pivoting head from the main shaft. You can kind of see it in the picture. I'm hoping I can press it back in to place. I can't wait to get it back to working condition and getting a nice 16" WW1 blade on there, and eventually one of the 10" Forrest Dados.

Going to go post to OWWM with some of the information about the saw and hopefully they can give me some more info.

That'll be a nice machine when you get it restored, especially with the family history involved. Congrats!
