I have to cut out some plastic boxes for various switches and connectors. I can't seem to find a cutout for the DB9 connector. Looks like a trapezoid with holes at both ends. Thanks

use that and you should be able to make your own drawing.. :)
Or there is a nice drawing of one in the attached file you may be able to use...
It is a autocad drawing .dwg

I am going to try to use the Auto CAD file. Got it pulled out and cleaned up. The next challenge is to scale it down to the actual size. Thanks

Did you get this done? I just saw this post and if you didn't I have an Autocad Drawing of a DB-25 that I can easily convert to a DB-9 for you.

I did create a vector. The cutting didn't go as I had expected though. The box was made from thick Lexan so the job ended up getting done with a punch out. Thanks for the follow up.
