Anybody know if the jaws for the One-Way Talon and the Teknatool SuperNova2 are interchangeabe? I'd like to get another body and the Teknatool is on sale at woodcraft

According to Bob Hamilton the oneway jaws will fit on the Nova chucks but the Nova jaws will not fit the one way. The differences are screw size and the key way on one is tapered while the other is square. Bob is a member here so PM him for a good explination...Bill..

The Oneway jaws will fit on the Nova chuck if you remove the travel limiting roll pin that sticks out the back of one of the jaws. The Nova chuck uses a different method for limiting the travel. Of course, if you do that then you won't have any travel limiter when you go to use them on the Oneway chuck body again.

The rib on the back of the Oneway jaws will fit in the groove on the face of the Nova base slides, but the rib on the Nova jaws will not fit into the groove on the Oneway base slides. I believe that is because the Oneway uses a taper fit and the Nova rib and groove are square sided.

Take care
Bob
