Here is a walnut H.F. 8" high x 3 1/2" at the widest point. The opening at top is 1".Turned to 1/4" thick.5 coats of antique oil Beale buffed . I love walnut easy to turn and great to finish! Comments welcome! George

George - that looks really good! Nice work getting it down to 1/4" with only a 1" opening! Was the wood dry or did you turn green to completion? I do like the sapwood stripe - great effect!

Steve the wood was wet. The strip was a accident,even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes! Thanks for looking! G
