I've been turning pens and stoppers for about 2 years but have just started to try boxes and bowls more recently. I'm stuck with a midi for now which should explain the size of the following.

A quartet of lidded boxes for your amusal...

Spalted Maple with Wenge finial 4" by 2"
Cherry Burl 2" by 1 5/8"
Bloodwood 2 1/8" by 2 5/8"
Cocobolo 2 3/4" by 1 3/4"
129648
129649
And a small milo bowl at 3 7/8 by 1 3/8"
129650
129651
Everything finished with beeswax.

Comments and critiques welcome.

David,

Nice collection there!

Your classic bowl form appears spot on to me. The wood and the finish are great too!

I'd say you are on you way to adding more to your repertoire!

Nicely done Doc!

David,
I like them all. The lidded boxes are very eye catching and it seems like you got the best orientation on each piece. Well done!
