posting photos

Sorry... I know this has been covered elsewhere. How does one go about posting photos with a new thread? I've attempted to upload a few and keep getting a message indicating a failed attempt. I think the files may be too large, but I don't know how to change that parameter.

If someone could post a link, that would be great. It might even make a good 'sticky' at the top of the forum. Thanks in advance

That link will show you how to place the images throughout the text of a post.

The software is supposed to automatically size the pics, but I usually do mine in Photoshop Elements. Occasionally, I have the same trouble you are having, but it is usually temporary and I believe has something to do with the SMC server access at the moment. Not sure.
