I have an INCA J/P that I have not run in 6-7 years. Been in storage in my garage in So Cal. I want to get it up and running. I have spare belts available for any that are stretched. None are brittle. I have checked all the gears for proper lube/grease. The motor is a 1.5 HP TEFC

Is there anything else I should do/check before I throw the switch?

Make sure the knives are all tightened down and I think you are good to go.

.

Make sure that odd twist of the belt that connects the gears are correct.

Make sure to wax well the table tops and the stainless elevator top before running wood over them.

Make sure the jointer fence is firmly bolted down.

Good advice you've gotten here. If it's an ODP motor, you might blow out any dust that is in there. Same for the switch if it is not well sealed. Often times sawdust and other contaminents get in there and bugger up the works. A blast of air will usually help.

INCA made very high quality equipment. Let us know how it behaves coming back to life. I'm sure it'll work as well as the day it was unplugged.
