Well the Big Brown truck just dropped of two boxes. I hope I love this as much as the rest of you folks brag about them. Oh you will be proud to know that I did pick these up on that outrageous promo that Festool was running for first time buyers.:) Second box is extra sandpaper.

Chris ---I saw your post---boxes---and thought I would include my small ones in the post. Being from Kentucky I had them open before the brown truck was at the end of the driveway, or maybe thats just the little kid in me ---want to see what was in the box???????

Rich---I was one of the last ones to get this promo before it closed last Friday.
Well I found out on Thursday and jumped on it.

You had to be a first time buyer and fill out a survey. Shoot I had never even seem Festool in person just heard every one talk about their stuff. So it worked out good for me---it will give me a chance to work the sander before I go to the trade show in Indianaoplis in Jan.

Nice Festool, Gary! Where are you located in Kentucky? I have a sister who is a Nurse Practitioner who lives in Hyden. I visited her there in September of 2003.

I am 110 miles from Louisville Ky---120 from nashville--or 180 from Knoxville Tn.
If you look it up on a map it's 15 miles out in the hills from Campbellsviille Ky. Shoot you get out this way stop in---shop is always open and the is coffee going if we are awake.

Thanks Tyler---maybe someday I will have as many Festools as you. Of course I would have to hit the Lotto for that to happen.

Welcome to the "Festool at Saw Mill Creek" club Gary.

Warning: Once you have used the sander, ou will no doubt be purchasing more of their tools and the rest of them are going to cost a LOT more :( -but they will be worth the cost :D
