Fellow Creekers,
I just put a short write up on a Carriage Makers tool box that I bought a few months ago. You will find it at my website, www.eatoncountywoodworker.blogspot.com. (http://www.eatoncountywoodworker.blogspot.com/) Keep an eye on it because this weekend I will be posting pics of my latest acquisitions, including my $40 Stanley #2 and my $20 Stanley #7 Type 11 jointer plane.
Thanks,
Zach

Yup, me too! Its only a 1/4 inch chuck B & D but it has quite a bit of oomph to it. I've only tried it a handful of times because I want to get it cleaned and go through the wiring.

That is the first scraper spoke shave I have seen other than the one I made for myself, but they look quite similar.

There are actually two in the box; one made of brass and one made of a very odd burl-looking wood. Both work quite well.

Yup, I got lucky that day. I tend to make some good finds in my travels. Check out the post below that one as well. I did pretty good that day. I have some more to post this weekend, so keep checking back!

I've uploaded some new pics of the box and its contents. These focus more on the tool storage areas, including a pesky spring loaded swinging brace storage arm.
