Hi, guys. My brother in law wants to fill two small holes in an old hunting bow. The holes are maybe 3/16" diameter and 1/4" deep. They're not in areas that will flex much when he uses the bow. He wants to paint over the filler after it dries. What would be the best kind of filler for this job?

latex caulk. flexible and paintable. avoid silicone.

Can you find some similar wood and make plugs?
