Thank you everyone for the kind words, encouragement, and prayers for my wife and me. She had her surgery today, and although I haven't been able to see her yet (she's still in the post-surgery recovery room), I spoke with both the surgeons involved and they are very pleased with how things went. It was a long surgery but there were no surprises. The nurses tell me she is resting comfortably.

We're hoping for a nice steady recovery.
