Headboard

Want to make a headboard for a kingsize bed with a couple of reading lights built-in. I'd like something small, the lights, so I can partially hide them. What would be a good choice, and how high off the bed would you mount them?

datail about your project. How do you like to hide the light? What kind
of light are you looking for, a fixture or something custom made?
