JOHN HANCOCK

Hello,
My name is John Hancock. I have been lurking and learning for a little while as I was deciding which DC system to buy. I finally ended up with the Woodsucker and am still working on the duct work. I live in Woodland, CA, in the Central Valley kind of between San Francisco and Sacramento. My shop is about 20 X 20 and I have a pretty good collection of tools that my wife has let me justify for remodeling and restoring our little 1926 bungalow, bless her. The DC has put me on the spot to make kitchen cabinets, my most ambitious project so far, by far. I am sure I will continue to glean much from the forum and hope to be able to contribute a little with my meager knowledge. The mistakes I make as I remodel the kitchen may also be helpful to some other newer woodworkers.

Thanks for all the help that I have gained so far and for that in the future.

Regards,

John

Welcome to the Creek! The best part about it is that, because it's a friendly place, everyone contributes good ideas.

Welcome to the Creek. As fine a bunch of folks as you would ever want to meet. Some of them are ugly though. That's why I don't have an avatar yet- probably make the ugly 'uns feel bad.
