versalaser firmware??

i have a versalaser 25 watt system.

i have been having issues with it this week. it did not want to turn on. it has been acting odd since i updated the driver with the one they sent me with 1 touch photo.

i thought maybe i could fix it if i reinstall drivers.

i did that about 3 times and it seemed to be working. it turned on. i was so happy! but when i tried to etch something... it said that the firmware is out of date and to unplug the USB and reboot. which i did. but it just keeps saying that. i even reinstalled everything again. but nope. still says the firmware is out of date.

now when i view the diagnostics tab in the control panel everything says version 0 and for the serial # it just has lots of zeros.

can you guys help me?

I had the same problem. Shut down the laser and computer. Disconnect the USB lead. Reconnect the lead, then startup the computer and laser. The firmware should be updated automatically.
