Larry Marley's Bell on PBS

I happened to stumble onto Woodturning Workshop this morning. It seems my local PBS station has brought it back (Hooray!!), at least temporarily.

This was season 3, episode 2 I think. Tim started out holding up a turned wooden bell. Instantly I was thinking to myself 'that looks just like the one on Larry Marley's website'. About a minute later, Tim announced that it was in fact Larry's design, borrowed with permission. Small world.

Nice design, Larry. Thanks for sharing it.

our local PBS brought it back too. Not sure we ever got season 2. In today's episode, #4 this year, Tim made a bird. Not sure I'll ever make I bird, the the show is still enjoyable.

Tim Yoder contacted me about a year ago. He sent me a DVD of the completed episode. I wish one of my many Southern California PBS stations would carry his show.
