Air Assist - Universal Laser

I have a PLS 6.60 Universal Laser with the air assist cone using driver 5.26.45. I can't figure out how to have the air come on while engraving without clicking on the button each time. Am I missing something in the material setup that would do this each time?

Do you have the manual control or the automatic? If you have the automatic, on the color you use for engraving, to the right, in the manual settings, there is a drop down box that says "Flow". Click on that, select "Air", then on the box that pops up under it, tell it if you want 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% air flow.

If you have the automatic setup, when that color comes up, it'll open it up.

Thank you for the info. I will try that today. Is there a book on this stuff about a Universal laser or is it just from asking around?

There is a manual. They used to give you a hard copy, but I think it's on a disc now. Call Universal and request a manual. They should be able to use a drop box to get you the larger file (it is large, if I remember correctly).
