These three boxes are what I call thank you boxes. I give them to people I wish to thank. They are all about 8 inches wide by 4 inches deep and 3 inches high. One box is made of Maple ,Walnut,Oak and Teak. the number 2 box is made of Maple ,Cherry and Teak. The last box is made of Lacewood and Purpleheart.

John, from one box maker to another- I like 'em! I love the contrasting woods. As a kid who grew up with a box of crayons with only 8 colors I sometimes have difficulty seeing how different combinations will work together. Good job.

I have a lot of wood in the pile Mike. So when I want to make a box I lay scrapes of different woods togeather to see what goes. Maple will go with any dark wood. Cherry you have to be careful with. Purpleheart seems to do well with anything. Just some thoughts.
