I'm looking for something simple to build sails for a model then a 16-18 footer.
dose any one know of free software for sails .

What kind of material are you planning on using for sail cloth?

Dacron and mylar are pretty simple. Pentex requires certain cloth orientation in order to maintain load path integrity.

looks interesting
but doesn't look like something that handles small sew together then epoxy thin plywood hulls like kayaks.

Actually if you look at the user files there are at least 2 kayaks. I did not look close at them, personaly I prefer to build SOF "Skin on Frame if I am doing a kayack, although I did build a stich and glue for the sharkey waters of northern CA.

SOF not ringing a bell, but stitch and glue is what I was thinking of.
My brothers stitched a couple of them, but they've all been a little to rolly for me.

found a couple small boats at delft
including 1 sof kayak
so far can't seem to get progam to show individual sections, and have no idea how to get any useful info off the plans. SO FAR!- not giving up yet
