I think it is great that Grizzly posted the link at the top of their home page.
Others would have buried it 3 or 4 links down.

Shouldn't this thread be a sticky just like the Ridgid recall?

Grizzly was pretty fast with this one, got my new part in the mail yesterday with very good instructions. I haven't checked yet to see if my bandsaw was one that had the problem, but I give them credit for stepping up to the plate.

Nobody got hurt and there were no fires or damage to property. No bandsaws were affected for performance.

The "recall" is 100% complete and this thread should be moved back to its original location.

It's excellent news that no one was adversely affected by this problem. Kudos to Grizzly for handling and taking care of this problem in a very swift and professional manner. That quick reaction to a potentially dangerous problem can only bode well for Grizzly's reputation.

And to have a computer system that knows all their owners of this saw are taken care of and the recall is "100% complete"

No company can ship product with zero problem 100% of the time. what counts is how the company takes care of an issue when it does happen.
