I had an oversize wooden crank that attached to the black plastic knob. It makes tensioning easier.
If that's what you want I can attach a simple sketch of how it worked. It was removable for when I sold the saw.

Sure Chris
I am open to all ideas!
I was thinking of some type of cam lever,
but that might be easier said then done

I have a Delta with the QR lever now :p, but, I use to have a HF BS and I was about to put a lever on it. As I recall the Grizzly site has nice PDF's of the parts for the G0555 and they can be ordered from Grizzly. It does require a few mods to your BS though.

This was in a past issue of Woodsmith (http://www.woodsmith.com/files/issues/sample/sample-06-07.pdf)

Sorry for the microsoft paint sketch, it isn't exactly what I had, but it gives the idea.
Ultimately it just makes it easier to adjust tension. It was on my Delta 14" until I sold it.
That woodsmith lever design is nice, however don't you want different blade tensions based on different blades going on? I like being able to adjust the tension and check the tension scale.
I never thought of a lever system... Seems super fast to use if u keep one blade on.

Take a look at the exploded diagram of the 28-276, 28-206, or x5. It might give you some ideas.

Wonder what the possibility is of retrofitting an older delta/rockwell 14" saw with these parts?
