Years ago American Woodworker featured an article on a gorgeous walnut bookcase, with a broad cove molding at the top.

I want to build that bookcase for my son.

Does anyone remember the issue I'm talking about? I can't find it in the Index or otherwise.

Alternatively, do you know of plans for a really elegant, sturdy bookshelf, something you would give as an heirloom to a real book-lover?

If you like the Arts & Crafts, or Mission, style of furniture, there was an article detailing the construction of a very nice book rack, in the April 2008 issue of Fine Woodworking (#197), pages 42-47.

I've got that same project on my to-do list.

I don't know what you may find, but I use this on-line index to find plans from Wood Magazine.
