Anyone have/used/seen David Ellsworth's 'high-shoulder' tool? I was wondering if it had only 1 bend in the shaft, or if it had two, and a couple of other dimension questions. Thanks for any info, Mike

Hey, please see the picture attached. I borrowed it from another forum in the net (shame on me....). The high shoulder is the one in the middle. The ones on top are the regular ones which are 9/16". The high shoulder and the other two shown in the bottom of the pic are 3/8".

Hope this answers your question...

Yeah, i've got one too. As shown, it's just one bend. If you make/buy one of these, be EXTREMELY careful using it and take very light cuts. It hangs out pretty far and will result in a really nasty catch really fast. Particularly when working through a small hole (which would be the reason to use it in the first place), you run a good risk of breaking the rim when it kicks back. Practicing on some scrap first is highly recommended.
