Small boxes use small hinges. Small errors look big on small boxes. I oops'd on some hinge hole placement.
Wooden q-tip sticks and gap filling glue to fill the holes. Once dry snip the excess stick off and pare smooth.

Use some double stick type to align the lid . . . . correctly this time :rolleyes:.

I use a steel screw (this one happens to be brass plated) to pre-thread the holes for the soft brass screws.
