That is awesome, and something that I wanted to try out when I eventually get a laser. I love the detail! And my laser G.A.S. increases...

Nice work. You didn't say which laser you're using or how long it took to burn these?

Would you be willing to share the file? I would like to give that a try. I have seen it on the creek before but never able to open the files that are on here.

I think it has been posted before Eric. However, here is one version of it, whether it is the same or not it will give you the opportunity.

I can open it, now I have a new challenge. Once again thank you Frank.

True enough...how do we read the calendar is the question. Any Aztec's lurking about?

Sounds like a good marketing opportunity, although the World's supposed to end then too, so I wouldn't mention that part in the sales ad. ;)

I always figured the calender went on long after the aztec's are gone.
the prediction is Dec. 21 2012 ( when winter begins )
but there are no aztecs left
so their calender went on long after they did
if they would have been here they would have extended the calender :D
but that is in my opinion and I'm sticking to it. :)

That link shows that their "calendar" does indeed go on and on forever. So it is a matter of semantics. It isn't that their calendar ends, it is that their calendar entries cease.

Heck, maybe their entries would have gone on had it not been for them being wiped out. Maybe the astronomer's union was on strike, their country was in a recession/depression, their health care was out of control and so on. Hmmm...

Either way, as long as Planet Express delivers those parts I need for the spaceship I stole from Area 51, I am leaving before 12-21-12...:)

Our calendars end every year! I have heard it said that theirs is a 26,000 (?) year cycle and it actually starts over. There are a lot of other predictions for 2012, so we will see. Now, then, or later I'm ready, bring it on.
