Ulmia miter saws ????

Are the Ulmia miter saws any good? Where would I find them, if anyone still sells them?

A while ago I also was interested, and found that Peck Tools carried them. However, they were so fantastically expensive (not including shipping to Canada) that I never got one, despite that they are reputed to be very good.

Since then I found a Stanley Mitre Saw in someone's garage. It did tune up very nicely, but I find I have never used it even though I thought it would be invaluable. I do use the saw as a nice big tenon saw, though.
