OT Computer RAID setup....

I want to set up a RAID for my computer and wonder if anyone has any words of wisdom on the subject. As far as I know i will need redundancy and fault tolerance along with speed. Will 2 harddrives be enough to acccomplish that? My computer bluescreened this morning during shutdown and I think it may be the hard drive acting up.

I prompted that thread a couple of weeks ago and ended up getting a Western Digital SATA RAID card for about $80 and two SATA 80Gb Western Digital drives for $60/ea. (Fry's Electronics)
