Sizing Power Twist Plus

What's the most common width to use for power tools? I see alot of 1/2" and 3/8ths.. Assuming 3/4 is WAY too big for anything then?

My old contractor saw, current jointer, band saws and drill presses are all 1/2".

I used 1/2 inch on my table saw and band saw but had trouble on my planer because the belt rode too high on the pulleys and dragged on the shield. This also requires a little longer belt because it rides so high.

Alright.. I had a chance to get 25' of 3/4 DIRT cheap, but since it'll be useless to me, no point.
