George, imported it into corel, clicked on logo and did a 'trace' feature.

I am trying to cut this logo in my vinyl cutter for stencils and it doesn't like the broken jagged edges ( if I'm explaining this right) Sorry. I guess I need line type art, Maybe.

This will need just a little tweaking.

You are GREAT!
Can anyone explain how you did that for future reference. I'm pretty new to all this vector stuff and can use all the help I can get.
Thanks to all.

George:
Here is a YOUTUBE video that shows how to do this in Corel X3. I don't remember if Trace is included with Version 12 or not. There are also some services online that you can hire to do it, but usually the good folks here on the Creek are always willing to help.

Okay George, I have a trick for you. For a nominal monthly fee, you can go to a sight that has these vectorized logos. logofax.com. This helps me in a bind.

For a vinyl cutter, I would use the freehand tool. You know exactly how your lines are laid out and you will know what can and can't be done with the cutter.

Give me a day or two and I can make a small tutorial on how I go about doing it.

George

I cheated. Went to Brands of the World and downloaded the Pats logo and changed it from there.
