View Full Version : My Latest Project - Tack Trunk turned Blanket Chest

Basically I was supposed to build a tack trunk for LOML to keep her horse gear in, out to the barn. As the project progressed it was decided that it was turning out to nice to go out to the barn. This wasn't a cost of materials problem so much as the time I spent doing non-value added (for a tank trunk) joinery that actually turned out better than I expected.

Well I guess you all know what my next project is going to be..

That's a sweet looking chest and excellent step by step pics. I have that same ts and I like it.If you make things like that by accident, I wonder what you do on purpose;)
Seeing your project gives me something to aspire to.:D

That's an outstanding chest, Aaron! I certainly can see why it's not destined for the barn...

I also like the inlay in the top. Very nice.
