Email to Cell Phone messaging....

Does it cost any more for someone to receive a text message on a cell phone from someone's email or to send a text message from a cell phone to someone's email. Been doing this lately, seems like my kids would rather communicate using their thumbs then a phone. Maybe they just want it in writing?

From what I understand of it.... if you have unlimited texting on your cell phone, go for it. It won't cost more. But then I'm just listening to my daughter on that. My phone is on her plan, so I listen to her on this lol

Depends on the plan. Texting is usually an add on service.
