I made a banana hanger for LOML and an extra for my house. Somebody saw it and told somebody else and suddenly I am running out of scrap to make these from. This is not how I prefer to spend my shop time but a few hours turning scrap into funds for more wood is not a bad thing ;-)

I've had one of those in my kitchen for as long as I've had a kitchen I would guess. But I didn't make the one that's there...someone probably bought it as a gift. That said, these make excellent quick projects for gifts and so forth and are a good way to leverage expensive, but small scraps from other projects.

Very nice, Glenn. I suppose I am just a sheltered country boy as I have never seen one before. But.. thanks for the idea as I boxes of scrap and those would make nice Xmas gifts for female cousins and acquaintances. That's a clever idea indeed.

Nice job on your run...

Very nice Glenn! There will be a surge of supplies of these on the market!

LOML saw one of these a few years ago. I had to make a dozen or so before I escaped!

Hi Glenn,
Um...ya... okay...
Well, for a moment I was afraid your thread title referred to a banana hammock!
(and nobody wants to see any of those!)

These stands are much better than skimpy male swimwear.
Cool lil project... way to use those scraps!
You have just coined the cash-for-scraps program,
which is sure to catch-on from coast to coast.(and be all the rage)

Running out of scrap.....
Is that possible?!?

I can't wait to see your Greene & Greene version of these...
Thanks for the peek,
be well,
Walt

ps What are you building next?

Nice use of the scrap bin Glenn.

Simple little project that will help get the lumber rack stocked again....

Scraps into funds for wood....hmmmmm...I think Walt's right...patent the cash-for-scraps program and you're on the way!!!

You can't beat using already funded wood as a source for extra income. Very nicely done.

The one I have at my pad is metal. I like yours a lot more.

Here's to keeping potasium levels high !!!!!
