Just engraved a DS Lite for my lil sister using the FiberMark these are the results

The device is made from some kind of plastic (possibly polycarbonate) and covered with clear acrylic the laser didn't even touched the acrylic engraving directly to the polycarbonate, so now you know if you need some ds engraved just send it to me :D

Looks good. Would a Co2 laser not produce the same results on that material?

Would you mind going into detail on how you approached the job and what settings you used for your 45W helix?

as Linda shows on that pink one it will engrave the acrylic cover, i think is cast acrylic for the looks of it, the wavelenght of the fibermark wont engrave on any clear/transparent material (i tried:rolleyes:)

Why, so it could sit next to the other laser you don't have time to use? :D I've cleared a spot for your laser Dan. Just need to get it down here.

I think I just use a plastic setting...300dpi 100s 50p...worked nice.
The black marking that Lenin got is very cool looking.
