I made this for a friend. Canary wood,2" acrossx2" to the topx 1 1/4" at the bottom. I know the pics aren't that great, but oh well.126371

I appreciate it. I will make more this weekend for some ladies my wife works with. I couldn't find any screw hooks that small, so I got the screw eyes and cut them down. After Ii saw pics I got a small file and rounded it over, so I will be looking for the small hooks.

Very nice piece Roy, looks like a great fit of lid to the base. Nice wood, grain and color. I like the hook idea also.

I thought I would add it here.
My wife went to the hardware store and got what they call cup holders. It will not come close to holding my coffee cup, but I think they look better.
1st two are canary wood, the last one is Goncalo Alves. How do they come up with these names? The second one I blew out the bottom, so, I added a base. The tennon didn't turn out tight. So I will get one of those self stick felt stuff for the bottom.
