stanley chisels

has anyone heard of Canadian made stanley handyman socket type chisels( wood handles), if so any good? any info would help

I don't have any experience with those in particular. However, the Handyman series tools were generally of lesser quality than most Stanley tools. If they are a real socket chisel, they may be worth looking into, though.
