Well, you can pick your friends, and pick your nose, but you can't pick your relatives!!!
Woodworking content: I made this picture frame. Home Depot pine chairrail with a 1/2" pine piece glued and pin nails to the back to form a rabbet. Took about 75 minutes start to finish, total. Maybe less. Seems like it took longer for my mother in law to stop laughing while I was trying to take this picture than it did to make the frame.
Oak dye stain followed by 3 coats of lacquer. It will hold a Thomas Kincade jigsaw puzzle that they SO labored over. And you know - I don't even know what size it it... I just took measurements off the stupid puzzle. Go figure.

She offered to clean the shop in return for me making it. I said NO WAY!!!
