What happened to them?
Mine is this one: http://www.amazon.com/708777K-JWSS-10SPF-Horsepower-Intermediate-Extension/dp/B00006J6PP
Somebody else I know was looking for one.

I could be totally wrong but I thought the SuperSaws were replaced with the ProShop line.

Have seen one or two for sale used on Craigslist. You should know, however, that this particular saw had a defect in the blade-raising mechanism and requires a replacement part from JET. I think it was some type of belt or sprocket that would break. A pain to repair, according to a friend who has one.

I have been lucky with mine so far. Not a heavy user. I figured it must have been rebadged. The new Proshop looks very similar. Thanks.

Mike - The Supersaw morphed into a full enclosure version along with updates to the fence, and likely a few other changes. Initially there were issues with the belt mechanism used to raise and lower the blade, plus there were grumbles about the quality of the Microglide fence being slightly below par compared to comparably priced saws. They supposedly addressed the problem with the belt mechanism, but some of the other minor complaints remained...fence, miter slots, etc. Jet responded by bringing a whole new Supersaw (http://www.amazon.com/708780K-JWSS-CS-PF-Horsepower-Intermediate-Extension/dp/B0007XXIAO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1251147175&sr=1-1). The new Supersaw got a Jet Exacta II fence, full enclosure, and took a heavy price increase, but still uses the belt blade height mechanism....$1900 for that saw is pretty steep IMHO, and I suspect that sales support my opinion. They had a blow out sale a few months ago for a more realistic $895, and very few previous owners of the newer Supersaw could be found.
The've also introduced the new Proshop, which is a total redesign and is also a hybrid but is really a different animal. It uses more conventional gears for the blade height mechanism, and has a new fence...sort of a Biese Lite type that's getting very good reviews.
