Dave, I guess it isn't too far west in Pa, but they specialize in qtr sawn hardwoods, especially Oak... How about Talarico Hardwoods in Mohnton Pa. http://www.talaricohardwoods.com/

Dave,

There is a sawer in Evans City near Butler Pa. That's not too far that specializes in quarter sawn White Oak...and possibly Red Oak... I have purchased quanities from them before....It is called LOGS TO LUMBER....they have two numbers...724-789-7070 for lumber sales....sawmill services is; 724-285-6189........I believe it is two brothers, they were really nice fellows the two times I have had dealings with them...

I hope this helps...
Ben

Dave,

I buy from Braucht's Dry Kiln in Milheim. BRAUCHT'S KILNED LUMBER (814-574-5666).

I got 50 bf of QSWO at a good price and almost no waste. He also carries cherry, walnut, poplar, etc.
