I was thinking about getting some touch up paint for my Jet mini, contacted the company and at $26.53 a can (plus shipping?), I am looking for another direction.
Has anyone used automotive paint or white enamel for this touch up work, if so what color matches?

Steve,
Try taking your banjo to one of the borgs and see how close then can match the color. Just my 2 cents, spend it wisely.

Steve, I buy the "CANVAS WHITE" in the rattle can from Rustoleum. It is a dead ringer for the jet tools. I use it to paint the steady rests I build and sell and it looks real good!

I've found that Krylon Ivory Gloss is an exact match also.

Steve, is this a new tool? My mini came with some chipped paint, and WMH sent me a free can of paint after I emailed them about it. mike

As Jeff said Rustoleum Canvas White matched mine.

Thanks All,
I knew you guys would have a direction or two for me to try. It is not a new tool. In fact it is the oldest of the three lathes I have (four if you count the pole lathe I built). I am thinking about selling it to invest in more tools. Have not figured out how to use three lathes at once.
