JET DC-500 Dust Collector

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has one of the Jet DC-500 Dust Collectors? If you do, what do you think about it? Also I have looked on several websites and they say the size is Height:29.25" Width:19.375" Length: 15.25". It even says it on some of Jets webpages. Then I came across another webpage on jets website that said the size is 58-3/4” (H) X 17-1/4” (W) X 28-1/2”. I was wondering if anyone knows which one was correct. I have a pretty small shop and im pretty interested in purchasing one of these units. Thanks in advance for your help- Robbie

Probably some measuring to the top of the bag when inflated and others may measure to the top of the motor, or highest point without the top bag?

I have one. The second set of dimensions are the correct ones. The first set are not even close.

Sorry, I cannot comment on how well it works as I have not had a chance to use it yet. I got it for free as part of a Jet promotion when I bought my saw, but my saw is out of commission while I wait for Jet to admit there is something wrong with it.

One thing I can say about it though is that assembly is a breeze.

I had a Jet DC-610 that was about 4 1/2 feet tall. Being the 610, it was rated at 610 cubic feet per minute. I assume yours, being a 500, is 500 cubic feet per minute. I would imagine that the first distributor's dimensions are shipping dimensions. The second set is probably when put together.
