Romark Ultramatte front engrave 2 ply

Just tried this for the first time and WOW its tough stuff to mark on first pass 100 S 100 P still would not do it. Any ideas :eek: or is 2 passes quite normal :rolleyes:

Take your speed to 50% and try it on a test piece. Slowing the speed down has the similar effect to increasing the power. If that is at 100%, you only have one option... slow down.

Keep in mind that you're engraving through a .010" cap sheet versus the standard .001" to .003" cap sheet. You may expect to make 2 or even 3 passes.
