Thanks for all the well wishes for my trip. It is in a sense a homecoming for me. I had not mentioned before but I grew up in Brazil. My parents were missionaries there and I went there as a baby and stayed until I was 19. I still speak portuguese and have relatives down there. I always lived in the southern half and never made it to Manaus in the Amazon. I was never much interested in wood back then. Now I will be keeping my eyes open for anything I can get my hands on. Once again thanks for the well wishes. And last but not least this is for Chris Rae - there will be plenty of coffee there:)
