View Full Version : A couple of new drill presses

I picked up these two new (new to me) drill presses a few weeks ago. They are Buffalo Forge 612 and 149. I did a little cleaning up and painting. I soaked them in phosphoric acid to de-rust then gave them a paint job and replace a couple of balls in the thrust bearing. They are pretty much retired, just wall hangers to look at. I figure the post must go in the Neanderthal forum cause there ain't no power but what you've got in your arm.

One of my Son in Laws gave me this nice tire bolt drill awhile back,

A tire bolt drill? For drilling holes for wheel studs???

tire bolt - the special bolts that help hold the iron tire on Wooden Wagon Wheels.
