Box Elder Burl

This one is from a piece of box elder burl stained pink / red, I really liked the different colors that seemed to pop out of it (then again, your results may vary). I'm giving this to a friend for her 40th birthday. Comments appreciated!

Michael - you do some really nice work on all your pens and this one is no exception! Sharp looking - great colors!

My only comment is actually a request - that you use larger photos (like 800x600 pixels) to showcase your work as it is hard to see any details at their present size.

I have learned one thing about women...They can be a little sensitive when it comes to age. So...Make sure you don't say happy 40th b-day when you present it to her...Say happy 29th or whatever number lower than 40 suits you.:D

Dick, my wife says the opposite.

Her comment is " Why would I tell people I'm 30 when I'm 52. Do you want them to start commenting on how come I look so old at 30?":D
