View Full Version : Any Dovetail guru's in the n. Denver area?

I don't know what it is about dovetails and box joints but they challenge me to frustration.

I have a smaller pc jig w/ the bits but I continue to have challenges w/ it...was wondering if anyone a bit north of Denver wanted to do some show and tell or stop by a fellow creeker to get me started?

Have you checked youtube? They should be able to give you the info you're looking for. If not, PM me. I live at Arapahoe and E-470. I do not have the jig you have but I have the Leigh D4 and can hand cut them.

What model is it? There might be better instructions available.

Okay...so call me stupid... I figured out that I didn't have the bit centered correctly... I got the box joints now!

Hopefully this will mean I can get a nice dovetail soon too!
