I got a quick question for you all regarding some old tools of my granddad,s

he was a skilled carpenter and he has a few old tools laying about like SAWS and Planes and a few old hand powered Drills

do any of you know where the best place would be post them for sale

i currently live in the UK

IMO, don't sell them. That is, unless you're need need need the money. Why not learn how to use them? Keep them in the family.
If you definitely need to sell them, I'm sure we'd appreciate a first look at them. Sawmill Creek has a classified section to post things for sale. Also, do you have a local woodworkers guild or club. They may be interested as well.
How about a picture?

Well the story goes my wife and i split up and she took all what i got

unfortunately i don't have my digital camera she took that (yes she took me for all i got)

well i will give quick a description there are two planes ones a

Record no.6 with original blade

second is a bailey no.5 1/2

and a few distton saws

and a Stanley breast drill

and some massive saw i dont have a clue as to what that is?

they all are well used i will post on your classified section if any one would be intrested and with pics or pics here so maybe you guys could guide me towards a price

Welcome to the Creek. Sorry to hear of your predicament.

Most likely what you have is not worth more than £100 - £200 or so. You could likely find what you have on eBay to see what kinds of prices are listed there.

Is there a Craigslist in the UK?

Shipping some of the items to the US could get a bit pricey.

well i may have to say good bye to them i would love to use them
