Well my shop is now filled with Golden Goodness! http://images.businessweek.com/ss/08/07/0709_icons/image/french_s-(reckitt-b_871ea33.jpg
Yup that's right, the Mustard Mistress arrived today. Thanks to my Bruce(another member of a local forum), I will be up and running with a temp 220 line the early part of next week. This is only temporary as the shop is to be rewired in short order. No pics as she is only half put together!

Gary, The Mustard is my favorite machine in my shop! The only other thing I could not stand to lose is the radio! You will have many hours of wonderful turning and the capacity to challenge your skills for many years to come!

Enjoy,

Jeff

Congratulations - that's my dream machine. It's not easy being green...with envy. But how bout more info - where did you wind up buying it from?

Congrats Gary and welcome to the club. Angie, based on Sean's reply I would bet he got it from the ToolNut.

My 3520 is as quiet as a mouse, smooth as silk, a lovely mustard color, calls to make sure I am having a good day each and every day, brings me coffee in the morning and tucks me in bed every night. Am sure yours will treat you the same. :)

gary glad you got your new toy. Guess for me to go mustard I will just have to paint my 1642 that color instead of the white that it was. some paint is getting knocked off over time. Roger

Hope you can sleep for the next couple of days. I have had mine for 2 1/2 months and enjoy it more each day. One word of wisdom though. Be extra carful and follow good judgement. It is a very powerful lathe, and accidents are much more serious than with a small mini lathe. I pinched my finger in the shaft of the tool rest and banjo. It hurt a lot more than it did if I did it on my old lathe. I should have shut it off before adjusting the tool rest.
