'Heard that on NPR this morning. Very sad to see a great one like that pass away. He was a real contributor in so many ways.

He rocked before we knew how. How long would it have taken for someone else to invent electric guitar & multitrack recording? He was probably the greatest influence on modern music ever, but doesn't get that much credit.
