Off topic from woodworking, but since I have been hanging around here for a while, I figured I'd take the opportunity for some shameless advertising.
I am the coordinator for a motorcycle based fund raising event. All proceeds go to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital, which is a part of the Children's Miracle Network.
This is our fourth year running the event and it continues to grow in popularity. We have had huge money raising success over the years and this year we will be celebrating raising over $100k - accumulative for the four years. We were at $93k for the first three years.
Anyway, if you live in the Pacific Northwest area, and ride a motorcycle... put down your tools for the day and join us for a great ride for a great cause.
Pre-registration ends tomorrow morning, but you can always sign up on site Saturday morning.
