I started cleaning the plane and found markings that tell me it was made by the Auburn tool company in Auburn NY. The company operated in Auburn NY until 1893 and then merged or was bought by the Ohio Tool Company.
It needs to be cleaned and repaired. Some of the threads have been broken off in small places but it still works.
It will make a very good display piece for the den.
