I bought this off of CL several months ago and finally had a reason to use it on this past Sunday. I was very impressed. Easy/simple to setup, fit my saw arbor length, and made dados with nice flat/smooth bottoms.

Amazon has them (http://www.amazon.com/Freud-D208-8-Inch-Professional-Dado/dp/B0000223O9) for about $100. I think it's a bargain at that price and my "never used" one from CL for less than half that might be gloat worthy.

Half price for a nice set like the SD208 is gloat worthy for sure! I think I paid $79 for mine on sale. I've since sold it to try out some sets with more teeth, but it always did a good job for me.

Enjoy and be safe....those things have no mercy for fingers!

I own a Forrest Dado King, Freud Adjustable model, Freud "Safety Dado', and the SD 208. I use the SD 208 the most. The others are "back ups."
